How to Get Your Home Photoshoot Ready!
Just a Few Other Things…..
“We Need to Reschedule”
Hey, it happens!
Us photographers work around the weather because it has such a substantial impact on the final images. Be prepared to have your real estate agent call and reschedule our photoshoot if the weather takes a dramatic turn for the worst. If I determine that we should wait, trust me, it's for the best.
Be Prepared to Leave for a Few Hours
I use Matterport 3D imaging technology to scan every part of the home. If you have pets or kids running through the house during a photoshoot, they are likely to be in the 3D tour somewhere (we don’t want that).
It's best to plan to leave your home and give me a non-occupied space to work with. It also helps me to not get distracted. You will get the most out of the process if the home is unoccupied.
“Don’t Worry. I Will Lock Up!”
I know that you have other things to do then wait for me to wrap up the shoot. You can have FULL confidence that I will lock up (or I can leave through the garage) your home, turn off all the lights and put things that have been moved back once I am completed. I will also message the Realtor who scheduled the photoshoot to let them know that I am done.
To Sum Things Up:
When it comes to marketing your home, the photography is the most important piece of the selling puzzle. Having the items on this checklist completed will ensure that your home will be ready before the photographer arrives. This will prevent having to move things around which can be timely.
Remember, great photos leads to MANY offers!
